Twice as Nice Designs was established in 1989 and quickly became one of the first companies to manufacture cloth doll patterns and yarns designed specifically for use as doll hair. Now we’re based in Winterset, Iowa—home of John Wayne and “The Bridges of Madison County”—and owned by Marcia Eveland and Amy Sawyers.

Our company currently sells over 70 colors and styles of natural yarns to all 50 states and exports around the globe. Our unique line of yarns has enough colors and textures for any doll (wooden or cloth) or any project needing hair or beards. Many are also suitable for knitting, crocheting and weaving. All the yarns are color-fast, durable and will not stretch or lose their curl. We offer retail purchasing for those who cannot find our products locally as well as wholesale for stores and professional crafters.
